HEALTH POLICY
Rhode Islanders have done an excellent job with our Covid mitigation! We should all be proud. That said, the virus remains with us, along with a number of other buggies out there making the rounds this season.
With that in mind, I have set guidelines for my business to ensure the safety of all my clients. Early on in the pandemic I consulted with an infectious disease expert to address our growing health concerns. The good news? It is possible to reduce any remaining risk of transmission to nearly zero with the proper safety protocols in place.
Please be aware that I ask you to be vaccinated against the Covid virus before scheduling with me. And if you haven’t yet gotten your flu shot this year, I strongly encourage you to do so.
Masking is optional, though you certainly may. In addition, I have a quality stand-alone air filter in the office with an industry grade HEPA filter that provides excellent protection from airborne infection. I may wear a mask myself, for all or part of our session together, if I feel it is necessary. And if you would prefer for me to wear one for any reason, please just let me know.
There will be a brief intake for screening purposes before each session. Be advised that clients who arrive sick (fever, coughing, sneezing) will be asked to rebook. If you are experiencing any symptoms on the day of your massage, please simply call me to reschedule instead. Stay home, and get well.

APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY
Please feel free to arrive several minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to ensure a full massage session. You may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours preceding your appointment. Same day cancellations, without reasonable cause, will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service.
DISMISSAL POLICY
Sexually inappropriate activity of any kind will result in the end of our session together. My work is solely for the purpose of therapeutic healing. The continuous safety and well-being of my clients is paramount. Should any of my clients ever feel uncomfortable during our session for any reason, I ask that you let me know immediately so that I may address your concerns.
Treatment will also be refused to clients arriving in an obviously altered condition from the use of prescription/medication, alcohol, or other substances. Informed consent cannot be given under such circumstances, and treatment cannot proceed.
Clients dismissed due to any of these circumstances will be charged 50% for the cancelled session.
